I Think We're Alone Now " I Think We're Alone Now " is a song written by Ritchie Cordell. Initially a successful 1967 for the American recording artist Tommy James and the Shondells, and in 1987, a version of the song by Tiffany reached # 1 on the charts in several countries including the U.S., United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand.

Tiffany version of the song spent two weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and also went quadruple platinum in the U.S. for thirteen weeks. The video was filmed in a mall that echoed the way his career had been promoted earlier. The video was filmed at the now demolished Bullring Centre in Birmingham, UK.

As anecdotal note, when George Tobin, Tiffany manager, gave the cassette from the original version of Tommy James and the Shondells, Tiffany hated the idea of \u200b\u200brecording a version of the song on his album, especially because I thought the song was not modern enough or had not rate of hip. Proved to be his greatest success was recorded once.
